What to Bring for Your Child
Having familiar personal belongings helps children feel cozy and prepared throughout their day.
For Infants
- 3 full changes of labeled weather-appropriate clothing
- Supply of diapers and wipes
- Prepared bottles or breastmilk with labeled names/dates
- Pacifiers (if used) with protective clip
- Crib sheet and comforting sleep sack
For Toddlers
- 2 changes of labeled clothes (including socks)
- Diapers, pull-ups, or multiple pairs of training underwear
- Soft toddler cot blanket and small stuffed comfort toy
- Spill-proof water bottle
- Indoor soft shoes or grip slippers
For Preschool & Pre-K
- Standard child-sized backpack
- 1 spare change of clothes in a labeled pouch
- Rest time cot sheet or small roll-up blanket
- Refillable labeled water bottle
- Kansas outdoor seasonal gear (coat, snow boots, sun hat)
